Our client is an award-winning specialist in producing Medical Devices used for patients in critical care.
The role is based at the clients' Head Office, based in the North of Yorkshire. For this position, there are hybrid working opportunities.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the company's technical department. This will include streamlining the Quality Management Systems, and working on New Product Development projects. Additionally, you will be working on the MDD to MDR transition.
Responsibilities:
Meeting with management and technical teams to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
Developing detailed project plans to guide staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements
Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of staff members
Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
Compiling and submitting project status reports to management and other stakeholders
Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
Developing excellent leadership and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
Working closely with the Project Managers for Operations and IT on cross functional projects
To be successful, you should have project management experience within a quality, regulatory or R&D function. Furthermore, experience of working on NPD within a medical device company is essential. It would be highly advantageous to have working knowledge of ISO13485 and MDR standards.
